Thai Khao Mai Party Aims to Establish Southern MPs in Trang Province for 2026 Election

For the 2026 election, the Thai Khao Mai Party aims to make its mark and establish parliamentary seats in southern Thailand, particularly in Trang Province. The party secretary has been actively touring the area to support candidates in their election campaigns, confident that the candidates' capabilities meet the needs of the region.

On 21 Jan, reporters noted the ongoing lively atmosphere of the 2026 election campaign, especially in southern Thailand, where many political parties are vying for parliamentary seats, including the Thai Khao Mai Party. The party is led by Mr. Suchatvee Suwansawat, also known as Dr. Ae, the party leader and prime ministerial candidate, alongside Khun Ying Kalaya Sophonpanich, also a prime ministerial candidate and party chairwoman. Recently, on 20 Jan, Mr. Kongkiat Kornsut, the party secretary, and his team visited Trang Province to meet locals and continuously campaign for local candidates. They received warm responses from the public, reflecting confidence in the party's approach and candidates in Trang, which is considered one of the party's key strategic areas to establish a southern base.

The campaign began in the morning in Huai Yot District, Zone 2 of Trang Province, where the party secretary joined efforts to support Dr. Kittidej Wannabovorn (Nong Mor), candidate number 2. In the afternoon, they traveled to Zone 4 in Kantang District to back Dr. Sumit Samhuay, the party's parliamentary candidate. They were warmly welcomed by residents and community networks, many expressing the desire to see representatives with knowledge and understanding of the area who can effectively advocate policies from the local to the national level.

Before concluding the day's activities in the evening, Mr. Kongkiat visited Mueang Trang District, Zone 1, at Centerpoint Market to support Angie, or Ms. Atchara Wongsuthiwat, the party's parliamentary candidate. The atmosphere was lively and friendly, with citizens showing great interest and engaging in continuous dialogue, reflecting the candidate's ability to connect with people and link everyday concerns to the party's policies.

Mr. Kongkiat stated that through continuous visits to Trang, it has become clear that people want politics that truly understands their real lives and representatives who deliver results. The Thai Khao Mai Party has confidence in its Trang candidates as a team growing from the local community, understanding its problems, and ready to work alongside the people to drive tangible change.

Trang Province is not only an area for campaigning but also a vital strategic location for the party to build its political base in the south. The Thai Khao Mai Party is ready to plant its flag in Trang and push forward quality representatives into the House of Representatives to genuinely represent southern voices at the national level.

Mr. Kongkiat added that the Thai Khao Mai Party reaffirms its commitment to proactive work, continuous field presence, and building public trust that people-centered politics can truly transform the country. Trang will be one of the key starting points for expanding the party's political influence in southern Thailand.
