Amazing MuayThai 2026 Showcases Cultural Heritage, Generates Income in Hua Hin

The Amazing MuayThai Festival 2026 at Rajabhakti Park, Hua Hin, from 4 to 7 February will promote cultural heritage internationally, create jobs, and generate income circulating within the local area. 

On 23 January 2026, Major General Punnapong Chuwaswatpat, Director of the Civil Affairs Office, Army Civil Affairs Department, chaired a preparation meeting for the “Amazing MuayThai Festival 2026” under the theme “Ultimate Muay Thai Experience” at Rajabhakti Park, Hua Hin District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. Present were Mr. Nat Krutsut, Deputy Governor for Tourism Products and Business at the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Mr. Ista Saowaros, Director of TAT Prachuap Office, Ms. Bussaba Choksuchat, Deputy Mayor of Hua Hin Municipality, Mr. Montri Manichpong, Senior District Officer of Hua Hin, and other relevant agencies.


The Royal Thai Army, in collaboration with the Tourism Authority of Thailand and Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, is preparing to hold the “Amazing MuayThai Festival 2026” to raise awareness and promote Muay Thai cultural heritage internationally, as well as to enhance Thailand’s cultural tourism image. The event aims to boost tourism during the country’s travel season, encourage both Thai and foreign tourists to visit, generate employment, circulate income, and increase overall economic value. The event will be conducted with appropriateness, dignity, and solemnity to honor and remember the graciousness of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother.

The Amazing MuayThai Festival 2026 is scheduled from 4 to 7 February, from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., at Rajabhakti Park, Hua Hin. Activities include preserving the art and science of Muay Thai, an exhibition of 19 auspicious Muay Thai techniques, demonstrations and training of four traditional Muay Thai styles (Muay Chaiya, Muay Korat, Muay Tha Sao, and Muay Lopburi), demonstrations of Thai handicrafts such as yantra tattooing and yantra painting, traditional folk games related to Muay Thai, interactive Muay Thai activities, Thai massage and muscle relaxation, stage performances including Thai cultural shows, demonstrations of ancient martial arts and weapons, contemporary performances, and mini concerts by artists.


The opening ceremony will take place on 4 February at 5:30 p.m., with the Muay Thai teacher honoring and respect ritual on 6 February, and fireworks displays on 4 and 6 February. A press conference about the event will be held on 2 February at the Tourism Authority of Thailand headquarters in Bangkok.
