
Bangkok Metropolitan Administration offers special ID card services at 50 district offices to facilitate citizens during the 2026 election, including early voting days, general election days, and referendum voting days.
On 24 January 2026, the Facebook pageof Bangkok Metropolitan Administrationposted that BMA is providing special ID card services to facilitate voters for the parliamentary election and referendum.
To help citizens exercise their voting rights conveniently, BMA’s registration departments in all 50 district offices will offer special ID card services during early voting, the general election, and the referendum.
Anyone whose ID card is expired, damaged, or lost can visit their nearest district office to obtain a new card. The service dates and times at the 50 district offices are as follows.
Sunday, 1 February 2026
Saturday, 7 February 2026, and Sunday, 8 February 2026

Expired cards are legally acceptable for identity verification during elections.

Photos or screenshots of ID cards on mobile phones are not accepted. Only the physical ID card or officially recognized applications are valid.

Voter eligibility can be easily checked online by entering the 13-digit ID number on the Department of Provincial Administration’s website.
