Closing of Rock Mountain 2026 Festival: Fans Book Accommodations into Next Year, Awaiting 2027 Concert

The music festival came to a close. "Rock Mountain 2026." However, the excitement remains intense. Many fans have not moved on, urging organizers to add more days and are booking accommodations well into the next year, preparing for "Rock Mountain 2027," with some venues already fully reserved.

On 27 January 2025 GMT+7, reporters in Phetchabun province reported that after the Rock Mountain 2026 concert held at Jolly Land, Khaem Son Subdistrict, Khao Kho District, Phetchabun Province, on 24 January, the event ended, but social media buzz continues. Many tourists are calling on the organizers to extend the concert to two days and two nights.

Inquiries with several resorts revealed that many guests staying to attend the concert expressed dissatisfaction with the event's short duration. They want the concert to last two days and two nights to make the trip worthwhile, as they have been anticipating it all year. They also support raising ticket prices and blocking resold tickets.

Additionally, some people have proactively booked accommodations for the January 2027 concert in large numbers, causing some places to become fully booked well into next year. They have posted messages urging fans to book or buy tickets early instead of waiting until the event day, warning of historically high resale ticket prices—this year reaching over 10,000 baht per ticket.

The organizer, GFest, a leader in premium concerts and festivals under GMM SHOW, stated that Chang Music Connection presents Rock Mountain has become the top winter rock music festival beloved by fans. The stage is surrounded by mountains with natural amphitheater seating, featuring a unique stage design each year and uniting fans who dress fully according to the event's concept.

This year’s event was themed "The Giant’s Secret Island" and a mysterious land of adventure, maintaining the surprise element by not revealing the show time, keeping the audience guessing throughout the performance amid a chilly 14-degree breeze. This edition was the liveliest ever, with nearly every fan dressed according to the theme: adventure gear, fur cloaks, and tribal rock paint, making the concert area resemble a jungle island, fitting for the "Giant’s Secret Island" stage featuring a giant centerpiece.

The stage included a waterfall flowing from the giant’s mouth, decorated with fountains and coral, creating an immersive atmosphere with massive artwork transporting the audience into a fantastical adventure realm. Attendees embarked on a musical treasure hunt hidden in the valley, enhanced by high-end lighting, sound, and a spectacular grand fireworks display.

The organizer also revealed that beyond entertainment, there is a social responsibility under the concept "Returning the Land to Nature." GMM SHOW is committed to environmental care, deploying hundreds of staff to sort waste from the event’s start, separating food waste, general trash, and recyclables within hours after the concert. This process significantly reduces waste requiring disposal and restores the private "Jolly Land" venue to its clean original condition, fulfilling the festival’s promise of an environmentally conscious finale.

This proves that Chang Music Connection presents Rock Mountain 2026 is a winter rock music festival surrounded by mountains with natural amphitheater seating, firmly established by rock fans as an essential event where attendees dress according to the annual theme.
