The Secretary-General of the Royal Household received the royal command stating that the 100th day since the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother will fall on Sunday, 1 February 2026. Therefore, His Majesty the King has graciously ordered the schedule for the royal merit-making ceremony on this occasion as follows.
Saturday, 31 January 2026His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen will travel by royal car from Amphorn Sathan Throne Hall, Dusit Palace, to Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall in the Grand Palace.
At 5 p.m., they will enter Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall. His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen will lay a wreath. Officials will sound conch shells, trumpets, flutes, and drums in honor of the royal funeral. The royal band will play the Royal Anthem. They will light incense and candles, offer royal tributes, and pay respects to the royal funeral.
His Majesty the King will light incense and candles to worship the Buddha image associated with Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother at the front of the Great White Canopy throne. Thirty monks will chant Buddhist scriptures, followed by offerings and blessings. Officials will invite monks to give sermons and chant Dhamma. The King will light incense and candles for the Dhamma offering. Senior monks will give blessings and sermons, followed by four monks chanting Dhamma. His Majesty will present offerings and offer the saffron cloth for the monks. All monks will listen and give their blessings. After the ceremony, the King will light incense and candles at the bedside for the funeral rites and chant the Abhidhamma. Then, they will return to Amphorn Sathan Throne Hall, Dusit Palace.
