The incident occurred on 28 Jan 2026 in the Khao Phra Wihan area of Kantharalak District. Local units were cleaning and burning trash at the base when bullets mixed in the trash ignited from the heat, causing explosion-like sounds. No personnel were injured, and there was no military clash. The overall situation remains normal and under the control of the unit.
