Five Little Goslings at Chiang Mai Moat Show Off Their Charm

The new members of the "Chiang Mai Moat goslings" have begun to show their charm by swimming and diving playfully after their mother goose spent over two months incubating the eggs and staying in the pen.

On 30 Jan 2026 GMT+7, it was reported that the "Chiang Mai Moat geese," stationed at the moat, had three mother geese laying and incubating eggs in their pen. One clutch has hatched, and after about two months, the goslings have grown and are ready to live outside with their family.

Recently, five goslings with brown feathers appeared, showing off their cuteness alongside their mother and the protective flock. They swam out to forage, charming observers with their skills and playful diving. Fans including locals, tourists, and social media followers have started photographing and quickly sharing the goslings' adorable moments online. The little goslings have been swimming and showing their charm for about two to three days, and passersby are welcome to stop and enjoy their cuteness.

Additionally, two other mother geese are currently incubating eggs, and more goslings are expected soon. The Chiang Mai Municipality will monitor the balance between the number of geese and available space, relocating some to other areas if the population grows, to enhance public spaces such as municipal parks.
