By virtue of Section 15 of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand, B.E. 2560 (2017), together with Sections 4 and 9 of the Act on the Administration of the King's Service, B.E. 2560 (2017), and Sections 10, 13, and 15 of the Royal Decree on the Organization and Personnel Administration of the King's Service, B.E. 2560 (2017), His Majesty graciously appointed two general-rank military officers to serve in the King's service as follows.
1. Major General Chakrapong Sela, Commander of the 1st King's Guard Regiment, King's Guard, Royal Command Headquarters, Royal Security Command (rank: Major General), appointed as Commander of the 21st King's Guard Regiment, King's Guard, Royal Command Headquarters, Royal Security Command (rank: Major General).
2. Major General Sarasawin Phothithong, Commander of the 11th King's Guard Regiment, King's Guard, Royal Command Headquarters, Royal Security Command (rank: Major General), continues as Commander of the 11th King's Guard Regiment, King's Guard, Royal Command Headquarters, Royal Security Command (rank: Major General).
These appointments are effective from 30 January 2026.
