Woman Demands Lawyers License Revoked for Secretly Filming in Gas Station Restroom Many Victims Found

A complaint was filed with the Lawyers Council to revoke a lawyer's license after he secretly filmed female victims while they were using a gas station restroom. He was caught in the act, and numerous victim images were found on his phone.

At 10:00 a.m. on 3 February 2026, at the Lawyers Council, lawyer Ratchapon Sirisakorn brought female victims' representatives to submit a complaint requesting the council to consider the highest disciplinary action—license revocation—against a lawyer who secretly filmed in a gas station restroom. They expressed concern that a mere three-year suspension might allow the perpetrator to cause further harm to society.Read more: Woman recounts moment lawyer secretly filmed her in gas station restroom; many victim images found on his phone.)

Ratchapon said the incident occurred around 3:00 a.m. on 31 January when the victim stopped at a gas station restroom on Khao Laem Road in Chonburi Province. She noticed a shadow of a head peering around, quickly left the restroom, and, with her boyfriend and nearby police officers, apprehended the man immediately.

Ratchapon added that examining the suspect's phone revealed thousands of secret photos of women, along with the perpetrator's lawyer identification card. The suspect claimed his actions were due to stress and lack of awareness. His girlfriend admitted she had known about this behavior for some time and that he had previously been arrested for similar offenses.

The victim said the incident caused severe psychological trauma, making her afraid to use public restrooms alone.

Saranchara Sricholvattana, Vice President of the Lawyers Council, confirmed the council will strictly enforce lawyer ethics rules without protecting insiders, as this behavior severely damages the profession's reputation. The disciplinary process is expected to take less than a year, with possible punishment including removal from the lawyer registry. Although the law allows reapplication after five years, the committee will rigorously assess whether he should be permitted to practice again.
