
The Meteorological Department announced that from 8 to 10 February 2026, rainfall will increase throughout Thailand before another cold front arrives. The northern and northeastern regions will remain in cold conditions.
4 February 2026 GMT+7 Meteorological Department The Thailand weather forecast states that from 8 to 10 February 2026, a high-pressure system or a moderate to quite strong cold air mass from China will spread over upper Thailand, causing thunderstorms initially. Afterwards, temperatures will drop and winds will strengthen. Sea waves in the Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea will be moderate.
Farmers in upper Thailand are advised to prepare and take precautions against damage to crops and livestock due to the expected rain or thunderstorms, as well as the stronger winds.
