Two sides heard on a bold video clip showing a young man leading about ten men to raid a house in Chachoengsao Province and abduct his girlfriend into a vehicle. The perpetrators claim the woman requested to be taken back.
A video surfaced showing about ten men attacking people inside a house before forcibly dragging a woman into a car and driving away. The clip was brought to the media by the younger brother of Ms. Moriya, 33, who claimed they are now being harassed and threatened, fearing for their safety. He urged police to arrest all perpetrators and prosecute them.
This morning (5 Feb 2026), reporters visited a house in Mon Thong Subdistrict, Bang Nam Priao District, Chachoengsao Province, meeting Mr. Thanawut, 26, the victim. Thanawut said the incident occurred on 3 Feb. Previously, his sister, Ms. Moriya, had been in a relationship with Mr. Natthapong, or "Ib," 28, living together for about six years without marriage registration. Recently, Moriya could no longer tolerate Ib's behavior and decided to run back home to live with their mother about a month ago.
During that time, the man tried to contact and resolve the problem, using a ruse to get Moriya to meet. She later told me that Ib said it would be their last talk. Worried about family issues, Moriya left on a motorcycle with only her ID card. My mother and I thought she had gone to stay with a friend, but she disappeared for four days without contact. We reported her missing to Bang Nam Priao Police Station. The police advised us to check at her ex-boyfriend's house, where we found her under close watch by Ib’s associates. Ib was at work, so we successfully brought her back to our mother's house.
However, just half an hour later, Ib arrived with about ten men and raided the house. They grabbed my sister. My older brother and I tried to stop them but were beaten by Ib’s group. They took my sister into a car and drove away. I quickly took my mother to report to Bang Nam Priao Police Station, and officers helped us retrieve my sister again. Ib continued to call with threats, saying our family would not have peace. I feel scared for our safety and want the police to take full legal action. I also want the media to cover this so the case does not fade away and to protect our family.
Meanwhile, Mr. Natthapong, or Ib, came to Bang Nam Priao Police Station to show his sincerity to investigators and filed a counter-complaint against Mr. Thanawut, Moriya’s younger brother, accusing him of posting incorrect information online, thus introducing false data into the computer system. Ib also presented CCTV footage showing Moriya, his girlfriend, hanging laundry, with no evidence of confinement as claimed by Thanawut earlier.
Natthapong explained that before the incident, Moriya messaged him saying she did not want to stay home because her mother hit her harshly with a broom, asking him to pick her up. Moriya then left her mother’s house on a motorcycle. He took her to live at a friend’s house in the Nong Chok area for three days before returning to Bang Nam Priao on the 4th because he had to work. While at work, neighbors called to say Moriya’s mother had taken her back. Moriya’s brother then sent challenging messages.
He said he and his friends went to stand watch. When he arrived at Moriya’s house, assuming she did not want to be there, he entered alone and pulled Moriya, who was eating inside, out by the hand. Moriya’s younger brother was unhappy, leading to insults and a one-on-one fight. Then, Moriya’s youngest brother reportedly threatened to bring out a knife, causing his friends to rush in, resulting in a scuffle captured on video by Moriya’s relatives.
Since then, he has not contacted Moriya, as her family has blocked all communication channels. He does not know if she will continue the relationship with him.
