The Puangchon Thai Party, as a newly formed political party, presents a set of ideas and policies focusing on "public benefit" as the core, emphasizing the grassroots economy, citizens' life security, and concrete reduction of Thai household expenses.
On 7 Feb 2026, Wittaya Tirnaparagit, candidate number 23 on the party-list (Pink Card) for the Puangchon Thai Party, stated that the party prioritizes addressing daily livelihood issues and life risks of citizens first. They propose policies based on economic and social facts, not just political promises.
Examples of key policies proposed by the Puangchon Thai Party include:
1) The "Rocket-Boosted SME" policy
This aims to elevate small entrepreneurs and small-to-medium enterprises, the country's economic backbone, through measures that reduce costs, increase liquidity, and ensure fair access to funding. It also includes cutting platform fees and hidden costs that currently disadvantage Thai SMEs in the economy.
2) Policy to expand citizens’ rights in medical expense protection and accident death coverage
To reduce financial risks for Thai families, the party proposes expanding protection mechanisms so citizens receive care in case of accidents, covering both medical costs and death benefits. They emphasize this will not cut existing social security rights or increase long-term government budget burdens.
3) The "Gold Card for Dogs and Cats" policy
This reflects a comprehensive view of Thai household quality of life by proposing a basic health care system for pets to help reduce unexpected family expenses and promote pet health alongside the health of household members.
Wittaya added that the Puangchon Thai Party’s policies do not see citizens merely as aid recipients but as the "main force of the country" who deserve a fair, transparent, and sustainable economic and welfare system.
The Puangchon Thai Party reaffirms its stance as a political space for new ideas, policy-driven politics, and genuine public participation amid the country's economic and social transition.
