National Defense College Class 68 Moo Wua Drives Project TheTEN to Empower GEN NEXT Youth

The National Defense College Class 68 'Moo Wua' students spearheaded Project TheTEN "Empowering GEN NEXT Youth" in Kanchanaburi Province.

On 6 Feb 2026 at 13:20, Ms. Warittha Sanguansermsri, Governor of Kanchanaburi, presided over the opening of Project TheTEN "Empowering GEN NEXT Youth" in Kanchanaburi. The event was organized by the National Defense College Class 68 'Moo Wua.' Ms. Natchawee Wanichsurang, a class representative, delivered the report. Government agencies, private sectors, and the public joined the opening at Thammanurak Foundation, Chong Sadao Subdistrict, Mueang Kanchanaburi District, Kanchanaburi Province.

The "Empowering GEN NEXT Youth" project targets youth in schools and childcare centers located in remote and border areas, especially at Thammanurak Foundation in Chong Sadao Subdistrict, Mueang District, Kanchanaburi, which cares for 85 children aged 4 to 22.

The project integrates the Creating Shared Value (CSV) concept to foster collaboration among government, private sector, and community. The National Defense College Class 68 'Moo Wua' leads three main activities: using sports to inspire youth; organizing diverse youth development activities; and conducting CSR and volunteer efforts to improve environment and nutrition.

The project aims to inspire youth to develop their potential for societal growth, establish sustainable cooperation among sectors, and raise awareness of nurturing quality new citizens. It seeks to create opportunities and motivation for underprivileged youth, promote equality, reduce disparities, instill discipline, and encourage youth participation. This is achieved through improving quality of life via sports, nutrition, and environmental development to prepare youth as future quality citizens.

Currently, many children and youth, especially those living in remote and border areas, still face inadequate care and nurturing. Some are abandoned or suffer abuse from family members or outsiders, leading to health, physical, mental development problems, and lack of potential growth. Recognizing these issues, National Defense College Class 68 'Moo Wua' initiated the "Empowering GEN NEXT Youth" project.
