All Three Military Camps in Ratchaburi Enthusiastically Cast Votes in Election and Referendum

Soldiers from several units in Ratchaburi province enthusiastically entered polling booths to cast their votes. Troops from the Engineer Regiment, 1st Development Division, and Military Circle 16 lined up orderly at both polling stations 1 and 2.

On 8 Feb 2026 GMT+7 in Ratchaburi province, reporters observed a lively voting atmosphere near military camps of all three units. Soldiers from the Engineer Regiment, Military Circle 16, and 1st Development Division lined up neatly to vote in the provincial parliamentary election and referendum. Polling staff facilitated voter verification amid many local civilians also casting ballots.

At the crematorium pavilion of Amarintharam Temple, Khok Mo Subdistrict, Mueang Ratchaburi District, designated as polling station 2 in constituency 1, many personnel from the Engineer Regiment and Military Circle 16 came to verify their eligibility and vote orderly. Election officials guided voters on the three ballots: the green ballot for choosing their preferred constituency MP, the pink ballot for selecting their favored party, and the yellow ballot for the referendum vote, to prevent confusion.

Reporters also learned from commanders of the Engineer Regiment, Military Circle 16, and 1st Development Division that soldiers stationed at each camp were released in groups of 25 to vote in turn. This approach ensured orderly conduct and avoided overcrowding with civilian voters, emphasizing the soldiers’ discipline and maintaining a positive public image.
