Dr. Ae Accompanies Parents to Polling Station, Urges Public to Vote in 2026 Election

"Dr. Ae" took his parents to vote in Bang Kapi, declaring it the most important day and urging citizens to exercise their voting rights in 2026, while Khun Ying Kanlaya and Choti cast their ballots at 10:39 a.m.

Today (8 Feb 2026), Professor Dr. Suchatvee Suwansawat, leader of the Thai Khao Mai Party and prime ministerial candidate, arrived to vote at Lam Salee School polling station (Rat Bamrung) on Srinakarin-Romklao Road, Hua Mak subdistrict, Bang Kapi district, Bangkok, accompanied by his family.

Dr. Ae Suchatvee shared his feelings after voting, saying he was excited to bring his father, mother, and wife to vote together, especially his parents who are nearly 90 years old yet still motivated and determined to vote.

“My parents and I live in the same district, right next to each other. I’m glad my parents, who are almost 90, are still excited to vote together as a family. I’m fortunate they have always supported me, being an only child. They have been with me through every important moment in life, from childhood to my political career, encouraging me daily. This morning, I also paid respects and sought their blessings.”

When asked about confidence in this election, the Thai Khao Mai Party leader affirmed his belief in constructive politics and that the public will give a chance to policies made for the nation.

“I’m confident because I always say I do constructive politics, and I believe Thai people will open their hearts to political parties and politicians who focus on real policies and give them a chance to serve the people. It’s great to see many people coming out to vote, smiling and asking for photos. I’m very happy. Today is the most important day of my life and likely one of the most important days in Thai politics.”

Additionally, Dr. Ae Suchatvee reminded people to plan their travel and encouraged everyone to vote, emphasizing that election day is when the people are truly the most important.

“I urge everyone to come out and vote because election day is when the people really are the most important. So, please come early or during the day but don’t be late because traffic can be heavy. Everyone should come vote. Let’s work together to bring change to the country.”

When reporters probed about his preferred coalition partner, Dr. Ae Suchatvee briefly replied, “I can’t say today, but I definitely have one in mind.”

At 10:39 a.m. “Dr. Khun Ying Kanlaya Sophonpanich” The Thai Khao Mai Party Chairwoman and prime ministerial candidate, accompanied by her spouse, Mr. Choti Sophonpanich, cast their votes at a tent at Atthawit School, polling station 23, Bang Na Nuea subdistrict, Bang Na district, Bangkok.
