Update on the Thai-Cambodian border situation: At 16:40 on 11 February 2026, it was reported that a soldier from Company 132, Border Base, stepped on a landmine, resulting in the loss of his left leg.
Initial details identify the soldier as Private Pariwat Meemana from the 13th Infantry Battalion (6th Regiment, 1st Battalion). He stepped on an anti-personnel landmine, losing the lower part of his left leg, and his right leg suffered open wounds from shrapnel. He is currently receiving treatment at Kantharalak Hospital in Kantharalak District, Sisaket Province.
