The Facebook page "Mithapap Samakkhi Foundation (Theng Sia Siang Tung) Hat Yai" posted a message: "Requesting ambulance access on Kanchanavanich Road from Patong to Hat Yai 17:12 - 11/02/26."
They also asked for everyone's cooperation to "refrain from sharing or posting information about those at the scene" for safety reasons.
