Under the authority of Section 7 of the 2017 Security Service Act, Sections 6, 8, and 10 of the 1937 Royal Guards Act, and Clause 4 of the Ministry of Defence regulations on royal guard appointments (2016), His Majesty graciously appointed Admiral Korawit Chayarot as a royal guard officer serving His Majesty.
The appointment is effective from 10 February 2026. The announcement was made on 12 February 2026, the 11th year of the current reign.
