Experience the Splendor of Lantern Decorations at the 2026 Chinese New Year Festival Yaowarat Chinese New Year

ThaiBev supports the lantern decorations welcoming the 2026 Chinese New Year at the Yaowarat Chinese New Year Festival and invites everyone to experience the beautiful colors of the lantern displays from 7 February to 1 March 2026.

On 13 February, reporters reported that Thai Beverage Public Company Limited (ThaiBev) supported the lantern decorations for the 2026 Chinese New Year at the Yaowarat Chinese New Year Festival. The event is organized by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) together with government agencies, private sectors, and local partners in Yaowarat to celebrate the Year of the Golden Horse grandly. Tourists, both Thai and foreign, are invited to experience the beautiful lantern decorations and the joyous celebration atmosphere, taking place from 7 February to 1 March 2026, daily from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Yaowarat Road is lavishly transformed, befitting its reputation as the largest Chinatown in Thailand and one of the largest in the world.

The grand opening ceremony of the lantern decorations was attended by Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaiboon, Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand; Mr. Yang Xiaolong, Cultural Advisor of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Thailand; Mr. Wirat Meksap, Director of Special Projects at ThaiBev; Mr. Pinij Kanjanachusak, Bangkok Metropolitan Council member representing Samphanthawong District; and Mr. Wisit Limprana, Chairman of the Reception Committee for the Yaowarat Chinese New Year Festival. The ceremony took place at the Royal Commemorative Arch marking the King's Sixth Cycle Birthday Anniversary on Yaowarat Road, Bangkok.
