At 14:07 on 15 February 2026, investigators at Ban Ped Police Station received a report of a robbery at Bangkok Yaowarat Gold Shop, located near Ban Thum intersection, Ban Thum Subdistrict, Mueang District, Khon Kaen Province.

Initial investigation at the scene revealed the suspect was a single male who used a motorcycle to enter the gold shop, steal approximately 26 baht worth of gold ornaments, and quickly flee the area on the motorcycle.
