According to the Meteorological Department's announcement, Thailand ended winter and entered summer on 22 February 2026. The maximum temperatures in upper Thailand have risen, causing hot weather, while the northeast monsoon winds covering Thailand have shifted to south-easterly or southern winds, marking the start of summer in Thailand.
However, the northern and northeastern regions will continue to experience cool mornings for some time. Summer is expected to end around mid-May 2026.
