A heavily pregnant Myanmar woman could not hold back and gave birth to a baby girl on a rescue vehicle. Both mother and child are healthy and safe. Rescue workers did not forget to share the "lucky number" from the vehicle's license plate, hoping it will bring luck for the 1 Mar 2026 lottery.
Reporters said that on the evening of 25 February 2026, Ayutthaya Ruamjai Association rescue workers received a call that a young female Myanmar laborer in labor was at a workers' camp in Village No. 4, Uthai Subdistrict, Uthai District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. They immediately dispatched an ambulance to transport her urgently to the hospital.
At the workers' camp, they found Mrs. NI MAR WIN, 37, a Myanmar woman heavily pregnant and in labor pains. They quickly helped her into the vehicle to take her to the nearest Uthai Hospital. However, midway through the journey, the interpreter accompanying them shouted that the baby had been born. They immediately pulled over to the roadside to provide initial medical aid.
They coordinated with the hospital medical team and ambulance to assist with the delivery on the vehicle, which took about 20 minutes. The newborn was a healthy baby girl, and both mother and child were safe and strong before being taken to Uthai Hospital for further care.
Mr. Thanachat Maneerueang, a rescue worker with Ayutthaya Ruamjai Association, said they received a report of a Myanmar female laborer in labor at a construction workers' camp. They promptly dispatched an ambulance van to check and assist her, intending to take her to the nearest hospital, Uthai Hospital.
, midway through the journey,the interpreter who was with them in the vehicleshouted that the baby had been born, so they stopped the vehicle by the roadside to provide initial aid and coordinated with Uthai Hospital’s ambulance to continue the delivery. The baby was born healthy and strong, with both mother and child safe.
They were very happy to have helped the little girl enter the world safely. Even though she was a Myanmar laborer from a neighboring country, saving a life is always important. The rescue team also shared the van’s license plate number, Baw 7520 from Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, for the upcoming 1 Mar 2026 lottery draw, believing the baby’s birth on the vehicle will bring luck.
