On 27 February 2026, the websiteRoyal Gazettepublished the Prime Minister's Office announcement on the removal of the Rector of Ramkhamhaeng University, stating that by royal command, Mr. Suebpong Prabyai was appointed Rector of Ramkhamhaeng University from 12 September 2021, according to the Prime Minister's Office announcement dated 14 September 2021, with a four-year term ending on 11 September 2025.

Under the authority of Section 18 (7) of the Ramkhamhaeng University Act B.E. 2541 (1998), at the 21st/2022 confidential meeting on 8 November 2022, the Ramkhamhaeng University Council resolved to remove Mr. Suebpong Prabyai from the position of Rector, effective from 9 November 2022, and issued Council Order No. 119/2022 dated 9 November 2022 concerning the removal.

Now, by royal command, Mr. Suebpong Prabyai is removed from the position of Ramkhamhaeng University Rector, effective 9 November 2022.
