The Deputy Commander of the Suranaree Task Force rushed to visit Private Dechsak, who was injured and lost a leg after stepping on a landmine at the Erawan Operations Base in Surin Province.He offered words of encouragement.He also provided financial assistance and emphasized full commitment to care.

At 18:00 on 27 Feb 2026 GMT+7, Colonel Boonserm Boonbumrung, Deputy Commander of the Suranaree Task Force, along with Colonel Natthawut Kamphiranon, Commander of Regiment 23, Battalion 3, visited Private Dechsak Trikam, a conscript assigned to Company 233 (Regiment 23, Battalion 3), who was severely injured during duty at the Erawan Operations Base, Dan Subdistrict, Kabchoeng District, Surin Province, when he stepped ona landmine.While performing sovereignty defense duties, he lost his right leg as a result.

On this occasion, the Deputy Commander of the Suranaree Task Force conveyed the commanders' concern, presenting morale-boosting supplies and initial financial aid to Private Dechsak and his family as encouragement and support for the "brave soldier" who has devoted himself to defending Thailand's territory with utmost effort. He paid tribute to his courage and assured that all soldiers will be cared for to the best extent possible.
