The Second Army Commander visited the Thai-Cambodian border within the area managed by Task Force 2 of the Suranaree Task Force, emphasizing troop safety and readiness to handle ongoing monitoring situations.


On 28 Feb 2026 GMT+7, Lieutenant General Weerayut Raksin, Second Army Commander, inspected the Thai-Cambodian border area under the responsibility of Task Force 2, Suranaree Task Force, to monitor security conditions and the readiness of troops amid a situation that remains at a vigilant level.

During this visit, the Second Army Commander instructed all units to elevate security measures for troop safety as the top priority. He also stressed the importance of preparedness in combat strength, intelligence, and field operations to respond to any rapidly changing situations, especially in the border area, which is considered a critical strategic zone.

Additionally, he distributed essential supplies to boost the morale of troops stationed at the border, reflecting the commander’s concern and close care for frontline personnel.
