Meteorological Department Issues 4th Warning on Summer Storm from 3-6 March: Check Which Provinces Will See Heavy Rain

The Meteorological Department has issued a warning about a "summer storm" the 4th edition, detailing the period from 3 to 6 March 2026 "heavy rain" Which provinces are affected?

On 3 March 2026The Meteorological Department's websitepublished an announcement regarding "summer storms in upper Thailand" effective until 6 March 2026, edition 4, stating that upper Thailand will experience summer storms starting in the northeast region first. The eastern, central regions including Bangkok and its vicinity, and the north will be affected subsequently. The storms will feature thunderstorms, strong gusty winds, hail in some areas, heavy rain in some places, and occasional lightning in certain locations.

This is due to a high-pressure area or cold air mass moving from China covering the northeast and South China Sea, while upper Thailand is hot. Additionally, westerly wind currents will pass through the north and upper northeast regions.

People in these areas are advised to be cautious of dangers from summer storms by avoiding open spaces, standing under large trees, unstable structures, or billboards. Farmers should strengthen fruit trees and prepare to protect their crops and livestock from possible damage. Also, take care of health during these changing weather conditions.
