The Sisaket Fine Beef Festival 2026 kicked off from 5-8 March 2026 to raise awareness of “Sisaket beef,” aiming to expand market opportunities and build business networks that stimulate the grassroots economy for local farmers.
A reporter stated that on 5 March, Mr. Anurak Thammaprajamjit, Governor of Sisaket, presided over the opening of the 2026 Sisaket Beef and Fine Meat Festival. The event took place from 5-8 March 2026 at Lan Od Lod Park, the “238th Anniversary Memorial of Sisaket Province,” to promote and elevate the reputation of “Sisaket beef” as a premium quality product. The goal is to increase market channels and create business matching between beef cattle farmers and entrepreneurs, restaurant owners, and consumers. This reflects the success in developing farmers' capabilities from upstream to downstream—from establishing model beef farms and progressing to becoming Smart Farmers, to skills in cutting and processing products—thus stimulating the grassroots economy, creating stable livelihoods, and sustainably increasing income for farmers in Sisaket. Dr. Natthaweroj Buchapat, Sisaket's Provincial Livestock Officer, gave the report.
The event featured booths selling premium Sisaket beef products from leading vendors, along with activities blending culinary identity with entertainment in the Music and Meat Festival, designed to expand market channels and offer new experiences for attendees.
Dr. Natthaweroj Buchapat, Sisaket's Provincial Livestock Officer, revealed that Sisaket is a key beef cattle production area in northeastern Thailand, especially for high-quality beef cattle developed through breeding, farm management, and continuous food safety standards. These achievements result from provincial support and strong cooperation among farmer networks, cooperatives, and entrepreneurs, which gave rise to the “Sisaket Fine Beef Festival 2026.” This is a major activity under the project to enhance production efficiency, processing, and value addition through innovation and technology, aimed at upgrading beef cattle farmers in Sisaket.
Mr. Anurak Thammaprajamjit, Governor of Sisaket, said this event is not just a food festival but a vital mechanism to push “Sisaket Fine Beef” into national and international markets. He invited food lovers, especially beef enthusiasts, not to miss the “Sisaket Fine Beef Festival 2026,” where attendees can enjoy over 100 dishes made from high-quality Sisaket beef along with various entertainment activities at the event.
