On 10 March 2026, the website ofthe Meteorological Departmentissued the second announcement regarding summer storms in upper Thailand, stating that between 11-13March 2026,summer storms will develop in upper Thailand, beginning in the northern region first. The central region, western part of the northeast, the eastern region, including Bangkok and its vicinity, will be affected subsequently.

The storms will feature thunderstorms, strong gusty winds, hail in some areas, heavy rain in some locations, and possible lightning.
