Crowds Flock to Refuel as Nakhon Chai Si Gas Stations Display Signs: Out of Fuel, Delivery in Progress

The atmosphere at gas stations in Nakhon Chai Si, Nakhon Pathom province is crowded as people rush to refuel. Signs reading "Out of fuel, delivery in progress" have been posted, requesting cooperation not to hoard fuel beyond necessity.

On 16 March 2026, several gas stations in Nakhon Chai Si district, Nakhon Pathom province, displayed signs at fuel pumps stating the following messages: "Out of fuel, delivery in progress," "Diesel sold out," and "95 octane sold out." This followed a rapid decrease in the fuel reserves within these stations.

Station staff stood at the entrances to inform customers and prevent drivers from wasting time entering the station unnecessarily. They stated that while there are currently no price restrictions on fuel, they request the public to avoid filling up more fuel than needed, so there is enough supply for other customers.

Due to news about the war situation and worries over possible fuel shortages, some members of the public have panicked, bringing cars and spare containers to stockpile fuel beyond what is necessary. This has caused the fuel reserves at each station to run out more quickly than the normal delivery schedule.
