The Army ensures no one is left behind by enlisting the sister of Private Thiwatwan Pholyiam. She was enlisted to serve in place of the brave soldier whodiedwhile defending sovereignty at Ban Nong Jan battlefield.
On 17 March 2026, the Facebook page of the 2nd Army Regionposted a statement saying, "The Army leaves no one behind." It referred to the clash along the Thai-Cambodian border at Ban Nong Jan battlefield in Sa Kaeo province, which led to Private Thiwatwan Pholyiam sacrificing his life to protect national sovereignty on 26 December 2025.
To honor the sacrifice of the fallen hero and continue his commitment to serving the nation, the Army enlisted Ms. Supaporn Pholyiam, the hero's sister, into military service as a typist clerk at the Civil Affairs Division of the 22nd Military Circle.
The Army, through the 2nd Army Region, honors the sacrifice of the border hero by supporting the families of fallen soldiers to move forward with dignity, affirming that the honor of the brave soldier will remain with the family forever.
