Meteorological Department Warns of Rising Heat and Possible Rain in Some Areas from 18-24 Mar 2026

The Meteorological Department forecasts hot daytime weather across Thailand over the next seven days, warning to avoid prolonged sun exposure. Some areas may have rain and strong gusty winds.

The Meteorological Department predicts weather conditions for the seven days from 18 to 24 March 2026, stating that upper Thailand will experience rising heat, but some areas should be cautious of heavy rain and strong gusty winds.

In the central region, Bangkok metropolitan area, and the western southern coast, daytime weather will be hot with a 10-30% chance of thunderstorms.

Between 20 and 22 March 2026, the northeastern and eastern regions will have hot daytime weather with a 20-40% chance of thunderstorms and some areas experiencing strong gusty winds.

Due to the rising heat, the public is advised to avoid staying in open areas for extended periods.
