Somber Atmosphere as Friends and Family Receive the Body of Comedian Neng Mengjai for Funeral Rites

A somber atmosphere accompanied the reception of comedian "Neng Mengjai"'s body for funeral rites at Wat Klang Khlong Si in Pathum Thani Province. The family is still unable to accept the loss. Relatives of his wife revealed that before being taken to the hospital, he experienced chest tightness and vomiting in the evening.

In a sad entertainment news story, the industry lost talented comedian "Neng Mengjai," also known as "Neng Komadi Krab," Mr. Arthit Meemark, aged 47, who was diagnosed with terminal liver cancer spreading to the lungs. At 10:30 a.m. the same day, Ball Chernyim arrived at Banphaeo Hospital (Public Organization), Somdet Ya Building, 2nd floor, Geriatrics Room 1–2, to receive the body of Neng Mengjai for the traditional funeral and wake. His wife, father, mother, relatives, and friends were already gathered there.

Upon arrival, Ball entered the patient's room but could not speak, still unable to accept the loss. His eyes were red from crying, as were the family members who were struggling to come to terms with the sudden passing of the family head.

Meanwhile, Yen Scorpion, a fellow comedian, briefly told reporters that Neng Mengjai’s body would be taken to Wat Klang Khlong Si, Lat Sawai Subdistrict, Pathum Thani Province, for the funeral rites as coordinated by Ball. He said when he heard about Neng’s death this morning, he initially could not believe it was true, but after confirming with the family, he was shocked.He said he was shocked.He was at a loss and friends who learned the news rushed to the hospital immediately.

A relative of Neng Mengjai’s wife recounted that Neng usually stayed at their home in Pathum Thani Province but had traveled yesterday to his wife's home in Nakhon Chai Si District, Nakhon Pathom Province. That night, he experienced chest tightness and vomiting, so they hurriedly took him to Banphaeo Hospital under his healthcare entitlement (gold card).

He passed away peacefully this morning. Generally, Neng was a quiet person and did not talk much when visiting the house, so they were unaware whether he had realized his illness before it led to his death.
