A land buyer was shocked to find mysterious human bone fragments scattered in a forest in Pathum Thani province. Police are rushing to investigate and estimate the death occurred more than six months ago.
At 3:00 p.m. on 22 March 2026, Police Lieutenant Supakorn Wasitthitanon, deputy investigator of Suan Prikthai Police Station, was notified of human remains found in a forest inside Soi Lek Thongsuk, Village 3, Suan Prikthai Subdistrict, Mueang District, Pathum Thani province. He went to the scene accompanied by a forensic doctor from the Ministry of Justice's Institute of Forensic Science, patrol officers, detectives from Suan Prikthai Police, and personnel from the Poh Teck Tung Foundation.
The scene was a dense forest with several ponds. Human remains such as a skull, pelvis, spine, and other bone fragments were scattered around the area.
According to Mr. Chaiyut Klinhom, 58, village headman of Village 3, a local resident brought a prospective land buyer to inspect the land. They first found the shell of a dead turtle, then came across human skull fragments and other bones. They informed him, so he inspected the site and alerted the police. People often come to fish in the ponds there, and no one has reported anyone missing from the area.
Police Lieutenant Supakorn Wasitthitanon, after examining the scene, took photos as evidence and instructed Poh Teck Tung Foundation personnel to transport the remains to the forensic doctor at the Ministry of Justice for further examination. It is estimated that the person died more than six months ago.
