Crude Oil Tanker Passes Strait of Hormuz Safely, Scheduled for Delivery in Thailand Early April

Bangchak Corporation announced "Crude oil tanker " from the Middle East has safely passed through the Strait of Hormuz and is scheduled to deliver crude oil to Thailand in early April. The company expressed thanks to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the governments of Iran, and Oman.


Regarding the recent update from Iran that a Thai vessel successfully passed through the Strait of Hormuz under international cooperation, as previously reported,("Thai vessel" safely passed through the Strait of Hormuz after bilateral negotiations)

On 24 March 2026, Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited reported that a crude oil tanker from the Middle East, which has been in the middle of the Persian Gulf since 11 March, recently passed safely through the Strait of Hormuz. The company expressed gratitude to the Thai government, through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, for discussions and coordination with relevant agencies, as well as to the governments of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Sultanate of Oman, for facilitating the navigation appropriately under international law.

Currently, the tanker is traveling in the Indian Ocean and is scheduled to deliver crude oil to Thailand in early April.

The company continues to closely monitor the situation and hopes the remainder of the journey will proceed smoothly. The company prioritizes safety in energy transportation alongside managing continuous national energy supply.
