"Members of the Royal Volunteer Spirit" are preparing the site to receive the body of a Thai worker who died from an explosion in Israel, scheduled to return to Thailand tomorrow, 26 March 2026.

The management team, officials from Khon San District, representatives from Khon San Subdistrict Municipality, village headmen, Royal Volunteer Spirit members of Khon San Subdistrict, and over 20 representatives from the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs visited and offered encouragement to Mr. Chaiwat’s family. The Royal Volunteer Spirit Command Center and related agencies worked together to provide psychological support and comfort to the family, aiming to boost morale during this crisis.
Additionally, the Royal Volunteer Spirit members united to prepare the site to receive the deceased’s body on 26 March 2026 at 09:20. The family is preparing to receive the body at their home in Village 2, Khon San Subdistrict, Khon San District, Chaiyaphum Province, which is Mr. Chaiwat’s residence. They have also coordinated benefits, followed up, and facilitated welfare document arrangements closely with the relevant agencies.
This loss deeply saddens the people of Chaiyaphum Province. All sectors are ready to send the spirit of the Thai worker back to the homeland with honor. Mrs. Poonsri Waewnil, 72, the mother of the deceased, along with relatives, welcomed the news with grief and anticipation to see her son once more.
However, according to the Royal Thai Embassy in Tel Aviv, flight LY093 was canceled, leading to rescheduling the transfer of Mr. Chaiwat Waewnil’s body. It is now planned to depart from Ben Gurion International Airport, Israel, on 25 March 2026 at 16:35, and arrive at Suvarnabhumi International Airport, Thailand, on 26 March 2026 at 09:20 (subject to change).
