Overall, fuel stations remain in a tight situation, with many stations having low fuel reserves. Residents carrying jerrycans lined up to buy diesel, while motorcycles and cars queued to refuel from midnight, early morning, and throughout the day. Some locations temporarily ran out of fuel, causing shortages across districts in Phayao to continue for two consecutive weeks.
Local administrative officials from each district, together with volunteer defense forces, conducted fuel checks and helped facilitate citizens at each gas station area.
