PM 2.5 Levels in Bangkok Exceed Standards in Four Areas on 5 April 2026

This morning, PM 2.5 levels in Bangkok exceeded standards in four areas, with air quality rated orange, indicating the start of health effects.

The top 12 highest PM2.5 levels by district are as follows:

2. Bang Kho Laem District: 39.3 µg/m³

3. Nong Chok District: 38 µg/m³

4. Lat Krabang District: 37.6 µg/m³

5. Laksi District: 36.6 µg/m³

6. Bang Khun Thian District: 35.3 µg/m³

7. Ratchathewi District: 35 µg/m³

8. Bang Rak District: 34.9 µg/m³

9. Wang Thonglang District: 34.5 µg/m³

10. Sathorn District: 34.4 µg/m³

11. Bang Phlat District: 34 µg/m³

12. Phra Nakhon District: 33.3 µg/m³

  • Northern Bangkok: 28.2 - 36.6 µg/m³ Overall: Moderate level
  • Eastern Bangkok: 26.4 - 44 µg/m³ Overall: Moderate level
  • Central Bangkok: 23.4 - 35 µg/m³ Overall: Moderate level
  • Southern Bangkok: 23.9 - 39.3 µg/m³ Overall: Moderate level
  • Northern Thonburi: 23.7 - 34 µg/m³ Overall: Moderate level
  • Southern Thonburi: 26 - 35.3 µg/m³ Overall: Moderate level
