
Police inspected traffic conditions as people traveled back on Motorway M6 at Khamsamlao toll gate. Although traffic was heavy, it remained smooth with no accidents reported. Meanwhile, on Mittraphap Road, vehicle volume was slightly above normal but speeds were still maintainable.
Today (14 April 2026) at 14:30, Police Major General Narongsak Promtha, Commander of Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Police, assigned Police Colonel Chusit Losang, Deputy Commander, to inspect traffic conditions on the M6 Motorway near the Khamsamlao toll gate at kilometer marker 185 to assess travel patterns during the Songkran festival.
The inspection found overall traffic volume to be fairly heavy but continuously moving without congestion. Traffic heading towards Bangkok was dense yet allowed speeds within legal limits, while traffic towards Nakhon Ratchasima was lighter and flowed smoothly.
During the entire inspection period, no accidents or broken-down vehicles blocking traffic were reported. Police officers remain vigilant and continue to facilitate traffic to ensure safe and swift travel for the public during the Songkran festival.
On Mittraphap Road, between kilometers 54 and 57 near the grade-separated interchange leading into Khao Yai, Khnong Phra subdistrict, Pak Chong district, Nakhon Ratchasima, traffic volume was slightly higher than usual but vehicles were still able to maintain speed.
