Chao Phraya Express Boat Reduces Fares by 1 Baht Across All Services Starting 17 Apr 2026

The Chao Phraya Express Boat announced a 1 baht fare reduction for all boat types, effective this Friday, 17 April 2026.

On 15 April 2026, it was reported that the Chao Phraya Express Boat would reduce fares by 1 baht across all boat categories due to a decrease in diesel fuel prices to 44.45 baht per liter, starting Friday, 17 April 2026.

Commander Charoenporn Charoentham, managing director of Chao Phraya Express Boat Co., Ltd., which operates passenger boats along the Chao Phraya River between Pak Kret and Wat Ratchasingkhon piers, said that due to the diesel price dropping by 4 baht to 44.45 baht per liter on 11 April 2026, the company will reduce all boat fares by 1 baht from the previous rates starting Friday, 17 April 2026.

  • Orange Flag Boat: Route Nonthaburi – Wat Ratchasingkhon, reduced from 20 baht to 19 baht (all stops).
  • Yellow Flag Boat: Route Nonthaburi – Sathorn, reduced from 25 baht to 24 baht (all stops).
  • Green-Yellow Flag Boat:

- Route Pak Kret – Nonthaburi, reduced from 18 baht to 17 baht.

- Route Nonthaburi – Sathorn, reduced from 25 baht to 24 baht.

- Route Pak Kret – Sathorn, reduced from 37 baht to 36 baht.

  • Red Flag Boat (Air-conditioned): Nonthaburi – Sathorn, reduced from 34 baht to 33 baht.

If diesel prices drop further, the company will continue to lower fares accordingly.
