This is due to southerly and southeasterly winds bringing moisture from the Gulf of Thailand and South China Sea covering the northeast, east, and upper Gulf areas, while the country experiences hot to very hot weather.
Residents in upper Thailand are advised to beware of summer storm dangers by avoiding open spaces, staying away from large trees, unstable structures, and billboards.
