Erawan National Park has announced its returnto "open for tourism and camping."This follows the wildfire and haze situation improving to safe levels and returning to normal conditions, effective from 22 April onwards.
On 22 April 2026, Mr. Phiphat Chimphli, head of Erawan National Park, revealed that according to the park's announcement dated 21 April 2026, tourism and camping were temporarily closed due to the impact of wildfires and haze. This caused particulate matter (PM 2.5) to accumulate up to 42.9 micrograms per cubic meter, exceeding safety standards and affecting the health of residents, tourists, and staff.
Recently, Erawan National Park closely monitored and assessed the situation, finding that the wildfire conditions within the park have eased to safe levels and returned to normal. To prevent further impacts and damage to the local tourism business, and to support the local economy, under the authority of Sections 25 and 35(4) of the National Park Act B.E. 2562 (2019), Erawan National Park hereby announces the reopening of tourism and camping starting 22 April 2026 onwards.
