On 23 April 2026, "Thairath" announced that the “energy crisis” caused by the Middle East conflict since late February until now has resulted in unprecedented global energy price spikes, as widely known.
Thairath respectfully informs readers that the daily newspaper business has been severely affected by increased production and transportation costs, making it impossible for us to bear the burden any longer.
After careful consideration and discussions with other daily newspapers, including Delin News, which share the same view, we kindly request our valued customers to accept a necessary price adjustment.
Therefore, both Thairath and Delin News newspapers will raise their prices from 10 baht to 15 baht starting with the issue on Friday, 1 May 2026.
