On 24 April 2026, the Air Force explained that a T-50 aircraft slid off the runway within Wing 1 during a training flight operation on 23 April 2026 at 10:45 a.m.
Following the incident, the pilot remained safe and was able to exit the aircraft without injury. The aircraft is currently under damage evaluation to carry out maintenance according to appropriate standards.
After the event, Wing 1 and related agencies strictly followed flight safety protocols, inspected, and controlled the surrounding area to prevent any further impact. Initially, there is no effect on flight mission operations at Wing 1.
The Air Force’s Aviation Accident Investigation Committee is thoroughly analyzing the cause of the incident, including technical, environmental, and operational factors, aiming to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
