With a policy to transform Siam into more than just a space for youth and tourists, but rather a place of opportunity for all Thais and a center linking knowledge from Chulalongkorn University to the public, while providing students with practical experience.
Chulalongkorn University is continuing its annual labor event for the second year, inviting Thai workers to gather at Siam Square for free health checks and services provided by students, faculty, nurses, and doctors from over 20 faculties and units at the university on 1 May 2026. The event is organized by PMCU (Chulalongkorn University Property Management Office) under the program "Chula Cares: Strong Thai Workers." Last year, over 2,000 workers participated, with free health services valued at over 2.5 million baht, underscoring Chulalongkorn University's ongoing role in supporting Thai workers' quality of life.
This year, the event is expanded and enhanced to better meet workers' health needs in all dimensions by transforming Siam Square into a walking street dedicated to workers, where they can take care of themselves and access comprehensive health services covering physical health, mental well-being, work skills, and reducing daily living expenses.
All these activities reflect the role of Chulalongkorn University and PMCU (Chulalongkorn University Property Management Office) in transforming Siam Square from a shopping center into a space where everyone can access opportunities to care for their health and improve their quality of life.
