
In Chiang Mai, a school shuttle van lost control and crashed off the road opposite Wat Mon Hin in Chom Thong district, resulting in 15 injuries. Rescue personnel rushed the injured to the hospital.
At 07:00 on 1 May 2026, Ban Pae rescue teams received a report of a school shuttle van on the Hod–Chom Thong route that lost control and overturned off the road opposite Wat Mon Hin, Ban Pae subdistrict, Chom Thong district, Chiang Mai province.
Initial reports confirmed 15 injured persons. Ban Pae rescue teams, along with Sab Tia and Mae Soi rescue units, promptly assisted and urgently transported the injured to the hospital. The injured have been categorized into green and yellow cases as follows.
1. Mr. Natthaphum Khankham, 44 years old (van driver), yellow case.
2. Miss Ploychompoo Wongjaima, 12 years old, green case.
3. Miss Wimonlak Sapsathin, 15 years old, green case.
4. Miss Krisana Khunyoying, 15 years old, yellow case.
5. Miss Pimpaka Jaiprasong, 12 years old, green case.
6. Miss Angsumalin Yotjapo, 13 years old.
7. Miss Chatchawaree Maseekaew, 12 years old, green case.
8. Miss Pornpitcha Thin-am, 17 years old, green case.
9. Miss Paphawarin Klawkamsai, 16 years old, green case.
10. Master Sirawit Sanros, 12 years old, green case.
11. Master Bannakrit Yao, 12 years old, green case.
12. Mr. Natthanai Samart, 15 years old, green case.
13. Master Pakin Chuemchid, 12 years old, yellow case.
14. Miss Nernnanya Banruan, 14 years old, green case.
15. Miss Wichyada Peeramoon, green case.
Currently, officials are conducting a detailed investigation into the cause of the accident.
