
A building structure collapsed on workers, seriously injuring two individuals inside a company in Si Racha District, Chonburi Province. Police officers rushed to the scene to investigate and are urgently seeking the exact cause.
At 15:30 on 8 May 2026, Police Lieutenant Panachai Wannasri, Deputy Inspector (Investigation) of Nong Kham Police Station, Si Racha District, Chonburi Province, received a report of a building structure collapse trapping workers, with two seriously injured. The incident occurred at a company located in Village No. 1, Nong Kham Subdistrict, Si Racha District, Chonburi Province. Rescue personnel from Sawang Prateep Si Racha were contacted to urgently respond and provide assistance.
At the scene, two unidentified male victims were found unconscious, lying in a pool of blood within the construction area. Rescue workers quickly administered first aid before urgently transporting them to a nearby hospital due to their critical condition.
Preliminary investigation revealed the collapse occurred at the roof structure area, which was undergoing building extension. While workers were operating, the roof structure suddenly caved in and fell onto the two workers, causing serious injuries.
However, the exact cause of the collapse remains undetermined. Police will coordinate with relevant agencies to inspect the structure and uncover the true cause of the incident.
