On 9 May 2026, the Facebook pageof the Bangkok Noi District Officeposted a notice about the road subsidence in front of Vichaiwetch Hospital at Fai Chai intersection. It stated that the incident occurred near Soi Charansanitwong 28/6.
Currently, authorities have temporarily closed traffic through Fai Chai intersection. All vehicles heading toward Tha Phra intersection must use the tunnel. They advised commuters to avoid the area to reduce traffic congestion and apologized for the inconvenience.
