For security measures, the Metropolitan Police Bureau has deployed one riot control company from the Metropolitan Police Division to maintain order starting today until 12:00 noon on 11 May. The forces will rotate in three shifts to cover the area.
Meanwhile, the Department of Corrections has assigned over 50 officers to guard the area around Klong Prem Central Prison and coordinate with demonstrators to prevent them from approaching the prison fence, ensuring order and safety.
Inside the prison, officials have installed metal barriers at the flagpole roundabout in front of Klong Prem Central Prison to organize the area for media and citizens who will come to observe Mr. Thaksin’s parole release tomorrow. Additionally, forces from Metropolitan Police Division 2 and municipal officers are assisting with traffic control and maintaining public order in the vicinity.
Thung Song Hong Police Station has announced a warning advising the public to avoid using the outbound Ngamwongwan Road near Klong Prem Central Prison on 10–11 May due to expected congestion.
