At 07:00 on 11 May 2026 GMT+7, reporters observed Red Shirt supporters from many areas nationwide gathered outside Klong Prem Central Prison. They had camped overnight since 10 May to offer encouragement and welcome former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra.
Additionally, Pheu Thai party leaders and key figures continuously arrived, including Phumtham Wechayachai, former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; Somsak Thepsuthin; Paopoom Rojanaskul, Deputy Leader of Pheu Thai; Jiraporn Sinthuprai, MP for Roi Et from Pheu Thai; Maris Sengiamphong, former Minister of Foreign Affairs; and Wisut Chaiyanrun, party-list MP for Pheu Thai.
At approximately 06:45, reports confirmed that Winyat Chatmontri, Thaksin Shinawatra's lawyer, had arrived at Klong Prem Central Prison.
Regarding security, police officers from Prachachuen and Thung Song Hong police stations, officials from Klong Prem Central Prison, and over 500 plainclothes police officers were deployed closely to maintain order and safety.
