The overall situation involves a collision today between a State Railway of Thailand freight train no. 2126 from Laem Chabang to Bang Sue Junction and an old BMTA bus route 206 at Asoke intersection. Reports indicate 8 fatalities and 32 injuries.

As of approximately 20:30, officials used a small tow truck to remove the damaged and burned vehicles from the scene, except for the locomotive and bus, which require a large crane for removal.
