List of 30 Injured in Train-Bus Collision Released 10 Cars and Motorcycles Damaged

Officials have released the list of injured from the incident. The "train-bus collision". There are 30 injured in total, with one discharged home. Additionally, 10 cars and motorcycles were damaged.

On 16 May 2026 at the Asoke intersection beneath the Makkasan Airport Rail Link station on Asoke-Din Daeng Road, Makkasan subdistrict, Ratchathewi district, Bangkok, Mr. Siripong Angkasakulkiat, Deputy Minister of Transport, summarized the situation following a severe accident and bus fire near the Makkasan Airport Rail Link station on Asoke-Din Daeng Road. The overall situation involves a collision today between a State Railway of Thailand freight train no. 2126 from Laem Chabang to Bang Sue Junction and an old BMTA bus route 206 at Asoke intersection. Reports indicate 8 fatalities and 32 injuries.

Regarding damages from the incident, there was 1 locomotive, 1 bus, 5 passenger cars and pickup trucks, and 5 motorcycles damaged. As of approximately 20:30, officials used a small tow truck to remove the damaged and burned vehicles from the scene, except for the locomotive and bus, which require a large crane for removal.
